| The WISCONSIN DARTBALL HALL OF FAME was finally created by the State Dartball Committee in 2009. We are always looking for nominations for new members for the HOF. If you would like to nominate somebody for the WISCONSIN DARTBALL HALL OF FAME, please print out form and provide as much information as possible about the nominee: Hall of Fame Nomination form Here are minimum requirements the committe is looking for in candidates for the Wisconsin Dartball Hall of Fame: 1) Must be at least 50 years old. 2) Must have at least 25 years of playing Dartball. 3) Applicants must have a written nomination form to be considered. 4) There is no requirement for a minimum highest season average, or lifetime average. The complete "body of Dartball work" will be considered. 5) If an applicant is not admitted one year, the application will stay on file. The applicant can always be approved in the future. There can be more than one nomination per person. 6) Anybody can nominate somebody for the Hall of Fame. 7)The WSDC has the right to accept or refuse anyone into the HOF for any reason, without explanation. |
| Norm Binder – (Class of 2010) Deceased. Started playing Dartball in 1950 at age 23.He began playing Dartball when he heard a bunch of yelling coming from the basement of the St. Peter & Paul’s Church across the street from his home. He looked in the window and saw a bunch of guys playing Dartball. It sounded like they were having fun, so he checked it out and they asked him to join. Played in the Milwaukee Blue & Gold League (1950’s), The Northside Catholic League (1960’s-90’s), the West Allis Classic League (60’s-80’s), and the Milwaukee Senior Recreation League (90’s-2000’s). A lifetime .500+ hitter, his best league year was in 1980-81 when batted .641 and had 194 RBI’s in the Northside Catholic League. Also hit .628 in the 1978-79 season. Was on 4 state champion teams: 1956 (Jonny & Gails), 1971 (The Panzer Division), 1978 (Binder Plumbing), 1982 (Dartball News). He passed the love of Dartball onto his sons, 2 of them were on the 1982 state champion team with him. Also won numerous batting average and RBI titles, as well as several state shoot-off awards. Was the sponsor of the Binder Plumbing team for many years, and also started the St. Catherine’s team in the Northside Catholic League. Norm was well known as a clutch hitter. In the last year of his life, he was battling cancer, but still hit a two out triple at the state tournament to put his team into the consolation finals. Nominated by his son Thomas Binder. Both of his sons accepted the award for their Father in 2010. |
| Willie Krueger- (Class of 2010) Lives in Brillion. Started playing Dartball in 1965 at the age of 23. Played in the Manitowoc County Lutheran League (20 years) and the Manitowoc County League (28 years). Retired from Dartball league play in 2005 because of back problems. Highest season league average was in 1975 when he batted .697 in the Manitowoc County League. Was on 3 state championship teams: Pinky’s Bar in 1979, and Sauve’s Auto Service in 1991, and Reedsville Sportsmen (Class B) in 2006. Still shoots in the State Tournament every year. Has over 167 Dartball trophies, including 33 league high average trophies. Has helped with many league Dartball tournaments or other things at the Sportsmen Club. Nominated by Mike Goetsch. |
| Bill Moldenhauer – (Class of 2010) Lives in Hartford. Started playing Dartball in 1972 at the age of 13. Has played in the Kettle Moraine Lutheran League (1972- 2008), and the Hillcrest League (1990’s). His highest season average was 1985-86 when he batted .723 (201-278). His lifetime average in the Kettle Moraine League is .566 over 36 years, including five times over .600. Also held the position of President, VP, and Director for 5 seasons in that league. Has played in numerous State Dartball Tournaments in the Class A division. Nominated by Jeff Moldenhauer. |
| Bob Leskovar – (Class of 2010) Lives in Milwaukee. Started playing Dartball in 1957 at 15 years old in the Milwaukee CYO League. Has shot in the Catholic Blue & Gold League (1958- 81), the West Allis Classic 9 Man League (58-81), the South Side Tavern League (82-88), the Muskego Tavern League (85-88), and the S. Milwaukee 4-Man League (1980-present). Has hit over .600 in league play since 1973! His highest league average was the 1982-83 season, when he hit .717 in the West Allis-West Milwaukee 4 Man League. Has been on 11 Wisconsin State Championship teams, the most of anybody. The first championship was in 1977 with the AMC Pacers team, then won 4 titles with Cruz Trucking, and has won 5 titles with Hickory Inn, the latest in 2009. He has 79 Individual Shoot-off trophies as of 2011, from any tournament that offered a shoot-off. Also won many league team championships and high average awards. In addition to his many awards, he has run two Dartball tournaments every year, a 4-man and a 2-man. He has also served as league secretary/treasurer in the S. Milwaukee League since 1980, and been a member of the state committee since 1988. Nominated by teammate Mike Studer. Bob is pictured on right. |
| Al "Bubbles" Komoroski – (Class of 2010) Lives in Two Rivers. Started playing dartball in 1965 when he was 13 years old . Has played in the Two Rivers City League, the Lakeshore Dartball League, and the Manitowoc Holy Name League. His highest league average was .618 in 1982 in the Two Rivers City League. His overall lifetime batting average is .556 as of 2007, before medical issues took some of his abilities. Has won 62 league high RBI trophies, and 23 league high average trophies between the three leagues, as well as many league team championships. Has shot in over 37 state tournaments, and was the captain of 7 class A State Champion teams, all with Sauve's Auto Service of Two Rivers, including a record 4 straight from 1999 to 2002. Was also on the first two State 4-Man champion teams. Also was captain of 39 other tournament champion teams, and won 19 individual shoot-offs. As of 2009, he had served the Two Rivers League as President or Vice President for 35 years. He has been a member of the State Tournament committee since 1991, and helped bring the state tournament to Manitowoc 3 times. Nominated by long time team-mates Jay & Tim Stegmann. | Delbert "Del" Petermann - (Class of 2010) Deceased, lived in West Bend. Started playing Dartball at the age of 19 years old in the Kettle Moraine Lutheran League in 1941. He had been a team captain in that league from 1941to 2009 . Only missed a few years of Dartball, all because of WW II. His highest season average was .498 in 1987-88, and had 17 seasons over .450. During his 68 year Dartball career, he has held officer positions in the KMLDL of: secretary (13 years), Treasurer (18 years), Vice President (3 years), and President (3 years), and is a member of the KMLDL Hall of Fame. He played on the 1988 Class A state champions Yahr Oil. Nominated by Robert Lompa Jr . |
| Dave Schettle Sr. – (Class of 2010) Lives in Oshkosh. Started playing Dartball in 1953 at the age of 16 years old. Has played in the Sacred Heart League (1953-present), the St. Vincent’s League (27 years), the Ripon City League (11 years), and the Sacred Heart Single-Triple League (14 years). He has shot over .600 forty-four times, including 13 times over .640. His best season average was .707 in 1979 in the Ripon League. In 2006, at the age of 68, he batted .640 in the Sacred Heart Single-Triple League, with over 1,318 at bats. He has won over 50 high average league titles. Dave has been on 4 state champion teams, in 1964 & 69 (Vultures), 1979 (Pinky’s), and 1990 (Castaways). He has also been on many league and tournament champions. Other things he has done include assisting with the state tournament in Ripon and Oshkosh, making wood boards for league play, and sponsoring tournament teams. Nominated by Mike Goetsch. | Jerry Mathwig – (one of original first three members recognised by the State Committee) Lives in West Allis. Jerry started playing Dartball in 1943 at the age of 14 in the West Allis Classic League, which he still plays in (66+ years). He has also played in the WELS Lutheran Church League (8 years), the Senior League (16 years), the Milwaukee Industrial League (6 years) and the Milwaukee Muni League (4 years). Between 1943 and 2005 he averaged between .420 and .575, many of those years were over .500, including his personal best .575 season in 1946. He was on many league champion teams, the last in 2006-07 season in the West Allis 4-man League. Jerry has played in too many tournaments to count, and in over 60 state tournaments. He has been the manager for 3 state champions: Play Shop (1952), Kuchta's Beer Depot (1961), and Van’s Shop Rite (1965). In addition to serving on the State Committee since 1970, he helped draft the original Wisconsin Dartball rule book. Jerry has always encouraged “younger blood” to join in and carry on the Dartball game. In 1973, he helped his son Steve form a team consisting of all the kids that came down to watch their fathers play Dartball on Thursday nights; many of those “kids” are still playing today. Jerry has many Dartball files dating back to the 1950’s. He also sold darts and boards for many years for little profit, just to help promote the game. Jerry was one of the original 3 members enshrined into the Dartball Hall of Fame when he received a plaque in 1989 from the State Committee recognizing his dedicated commitment in the promotion of Dartball. | Fran Wagner – (Class of 2010) Lives in Oshkosh. Started playing Dartball at age 13 in the St Vincent's League in Oshkosh. Played in the Ripon league from the mid 70's to mid 80's and the St Vincent's league in Oshkosh from 1963 to 1990 then 2002 to the present. Also the Sacred Heart Friday League from 1964 to the present (minus 6 years in the 1990's). He has batted over . 600 between 32 and 35 times in his career, including a career high .688 in the 1979- 1980 season in Ripon. He has been on 3 state championship teams: Vultures (1969), Pinky’s (1979) and the Castaways (1990). He also played with 8 Eagle's Tournament Championship teams in 1978, 1981, 1987, 1991, 1994, 1996, 2001, and 2006. He has won at least 12 league average titles. He is the 1982 and 1990 state shoot-off champion. Fran has also been the league president of the St.Vincents league for 6 years in the 1970's. Fran was the chairman of the 2006 State Tournament at Lourdes High School in Oshkosh. Nominated by Kevin Kiesow. |
| Jim Hinckle - (one of original first three members recognised by the State Committee). Lives in St. Francis. Jim began playing Dartball in 1959 at the age of 15 in a Milwaukee CYO grade school team. He soon became the team manager, and his love of Dartball was born. A few years later he played in the .400 Classic League as well as the West Allis Classic League, where he was dubbed "The West Allis Kid" by Gordy Wendorf, manager of the five-time State Champion Allen-Bradley Company team from Milwaukee. Starting in 1966, Jim began a 16 year streak of a .507 or higher league batting average, including 6 seasons over .580, two of them over .600. His best league season was 1968 when he hit .627 and was the league batting champion. In 1965, Jim played for the Van's Shop-Rite team of West Allis that won the State Championship in Eau Claire, edging local powerhouse McFadden's Trucking in the final. He has also managed State Championship teams in 1968 (Panzer's Service), in 1971 (The Panzer Division), 1978 (Binder Plumbing) and 1982 (The Dartball News). He was on the State Tournament Committee in West Allis in 1970 and served as statistician for the West Allis Classic League for a number of years. Almost from his first days as a player, Jim enjoyed recording the results of games, and so the Dartball News was born in 1959. Jim created a mailing list of Dartball players, and through his mailings and work, he helped Wisconsin become the only Dartball state with uniform rules and one State Committee, representing all areas of Wisconsin! His Dartball News went online in 2001 and currently reaches over 150 players in at least eight States! Jim has played in numerous tournaments around the State, backing a number of teams with the non-profit Dartball News. He started the Clutch 2-Person Tournament in South Milwaukee and later New Berlin, which is still conducted Milwaukee each year. Jim was one of the original 3 members enshrined into the Dartball Hall of Fame when he received a plaque in 1990 from the State Committee for promoting Dartball. Jim is pictured above. |
| Erv Fiedler – (Class of 2010) Lives in Iron River. Started playing Dartball in 1956 at age 23. Has played in the Kettle Moraine Lutheran League from 1956-61 and 1981-87, the Hillcrest 4 man league from 1981-1998, the Watertown 4-man league 1988-present, and the Hickory Inn 4-man league 2001-present. From 1981 thru 2007, his batting average was between . 560 and .663. His highest average was in 1989 league play, when he hit .663 and was the league batting champ. Erv was on the 1988 Class B state champs Hillcrest, and also on the 2008 Class A state champs Yahr Oil. He has also been on the state 4-man champs in 2006. In 1997 he was the State tournament high shoot-off qualifier with 16 out of 20 darts. Erv also ran the Hillcrest 4, 7, and 9 man tournaments from 1985-1998, and has been on the state tournament committee since 1996. | Rick Fare - (Class of 2010) Lives in Racine. Started playing Dartball around 1960. During the 1963-64 season of the .400 Classic League, he hit .653 and had 220 RBI’s at the age of 19 years old, earning him the nickname “The Bay View Bomber”. Has also shot in the West Allis Classic League, the Catholic Blue & Gold League, the Hickory Inn 4-man League, and the Summer Tavern League. Has at least 22 seasons with a batting average over .600, including a .688 during the 1969-70 season. In the 2008-09 Hickory Inn 4-man League, he won the league batting title with a .630 average, to add to his list of many high average league titles. He has also been part of many league championship teams, many dominated by Fare family members. He has been on 5 State Champion teams: Panzer’s Service (1968), Binder Plumbing (1978), Dartball News (1982), First Class (1992), and Oak Manor (B-2009). Nominated by longtime teammate Jim Hinckle. |
| Jack Willison Sr – Deceased. (one of original first three members recognised by the State Committee). Started playing Dartball around 1945 and played until 1998. He played in the Catholic Blue & Gold League, and was a .550 average player, batting lead off for many years. He was also the league secretary for almost 40 years. Jack was remembered for his promotion of Dartball. He could never park his car in his one stall garage, because it was always filled with dartboards and darts that he sold to teams. Jack was one of the original 3 members enshrined into the Dartball Hall of Fame when he received a plaque in 1989 from the State Committee recognizing his dedicated commitment in the promotion of Dartball. | Arlyn Solberg – (Class of 2010) Lives in Elk Mound. Started playing Dartball in 1955 at the age of 13 years old. Later played in the Commercial League in EauClaire for 30+ years. He won numerous individual batting awards during a 25 year span of .600 plus seasons, including a personal high of .690. Still an active player, Arlyn is a first cousin of Rich Ovren, one of McFadden’s Trucking team top players. Because his Co-op Shoppers team had their best years the same time McFadden’s had their run, Arlyn was never on a state champion team, but finished 2nd at state twice. Nominated by Jim Hinckle. |
| Edward Nutter – (Class of 2010) Lives in Sussex. Started playing Dartball in 1948 at the age of 18. Has played in the Lutheran Federation League (42 years), the Milwaukee Public Schools Senior League (24 years), the Kettle Moraine League (11 years) and the Catholic Blue & Gold League (5 years). For the first 40 years (from 1948 to 1988) he shot a league average between .580 to .620. Has batted over .460 since then, and continues to play. He was his team captain for at least 50 years, and was a league President 3 times. Was on the league champion team at least 30 times. Played on the 1948 Northside Lutherans State Champion team. Also was on teams that finished 2nd twice at State, as well as several other top four finishes. In 2009, shot in the state tournament for the 61st time, and was on the team that won 4th place consolation in Class A. Nominated by the Enderis team members. Ed is pictured on the left. |

| Dave Kiesow – (Class of 2010) Lives in Oshkosh. Started playing dartball at age 13 in gym class at Sacred Heart School. Started playing leagues in 1959 (at age 16) in the St Vincent's League in Oshkosh, the Sacred Heart Friday League from 1961 to the present, the Sunday Couples League at Sacred Heart from the late 70's to the early 90's, the Monday Lutheran league in Oshkosh from 1990-1998, and the Thursday 4-man League at Sacred Heart from 1991 to 2006. His highest average is .611 in the Sacred Heart Friday league. He has been on 3 state championship teams: twice with the Vultures(1964 & 69), and the Castaways (1990). Also was on 8 Eagle's tournament championships teams in 1978, 1981, 1987, 1991, 1994, 1996, 2001, and 2006. He has won 5 league average titles. He has won over 30 league championships, including 20 in the Sacred Heart Friday League. He has been the President of the Friday night league from 1967-1970 and ran the city tournament those same years. He has made boards for the Sacred Heart Leagues in the 90's and early 2000's. He has also set-up and taken down the boards for the Friday league from 1966- 2006, along with all of the clean up. Also, the League Tournament trophy for the Friday night league has been named after him for all of years of dedicated service to Oshkosh Dartball. Nominated by his son, Kevin Kiesow. |
| Rich Ovren - (Class of 2010) Deceased. Shot in the Eau Claire Commercial League. Was one of the premier triple shooters for one of the best teams from the EauClaire area. | Gary Rassbach – (Class of 2010) Lives in Prairie Farm. Started playing Dartball at the age of 13 years old in 1960 with the Arland Yanks team in the Prairie Farm League. Has also played in the Barron County League for over 20 years. In 2004 he had his highest season average of .630, in the middle of 3 straight years over .600. Gary was also President of the Northwest League for 25 years as well as the captain for his Arland Yanks team for over 25 years. Nominated by his sister Barb Brower. |
| The Wisconsin Dartball State Committee will hold it's annual meeting on October 15, 2011. All Hall of Fame nominations are due prior to the annual meeting. Nomination forms will be reviewed at the meeting and voted on. Those selected for the Hall of Fame will be honored at the State Tournament on March 24, 2012. |


















| Bert Berglin - (Class of 2011) Lives in Green Bay. Started playing Dartball at the age of 15 years old in 1948. He started in the Wednesday night Industrial League, now the Green Bay Dartball League, and played for over 50 years, including serving as league president for a time. He has also played in the Tuesday Holy Name League for the past 55 years, and despite Parkinson’s disease, continues to play to this day. He has also played over 20 years in the Monday Protestant League. His highest season average was .570 in 1975-76, and most have been over .500, including batting .500 at the age of 77 during the 2009-10 season. He has been on many league championship teams, and participated in many state and local tournaments during his time. He has also won individual awards for high average and doubles several times. He was honored with the Presidents Award for 50+ years of play in the Green Bay League, and the player of the year award in the Holy Name league. In 62 years of Dartball, he said he only missed a handful of nights, because he enjoys the game and the guys he played with. Nominated by Kevin Kohlbeck. |

| Robert W Cox Sr. - (Class of 2011) Lives in Kewaunee. Started playing Dartball at the age of 20 in 1950 in the Lutheran Church league. Helped to form the Kewaunee League in 1965 and he still plays in that league. He had his high season average of .601 in that league in 1976-77. He has also had 21 seasons over .500, with a career average of .513. Won several league high average, RBI, triple and most hits awards in the league, as well as 19 league team championships over the years. He started doing a Kewaunee league booklet in 1969 and continues to help with it to this day. He has shot in many tournaments and was a member of the legendary Cobra’s tournament team. | Archie Dadian - (Class of 2011) Lives in South Milwaukee. Was introduced to Dartball in about 1945 at the age of 12 years old at the South Milwaukee Boys Club. Didn’t started playing league Dartball until 1960 in the South Suburban Church League. In 1965 he started playing in the West Allis Classic League when he formed and managed his “Metal Spun” team. He also played in the South Side Tavern League. In 1981 he helped to start the South Milwaukee 4 man league, which he still shoots in to this day. His highest season average was in that league when he batted .601. He maintained a yearly average above .520 for 45 years. Also during that time he was a team manager for at least one team each year. Shot in tournaments with Metal Spun for many years, and won the Oshkosh tournament at least 3 times with that team. He also won a state championship with the Binder Plumbing team in 1978. | Mark (Doc) Drow - (Class of 2011) Lives in Oak Creek. Learning about the game from his grandfather, Mark started playing Dartball in 1974 at the age of 21 for the “Kids from West Allis” team in the West Allis Classic 9-man League, where he batted .493 his first year. Has hit over .600 in multiple leagues, including a career high of .627 in 2001 in the South Milwaukee 4-man league. His team has won over a dozen league championships in 27 years. He once went 21 for 23 in a single game, to help his team to a league record 58 run game! He continues to play in that league, as well as the West Allis-West Milwaukee 4-man league, where he won the high average title six times. Mark has won over 24 individual shoot-off and round robin awards. He has been on 8 state champion teams: Pleasant View (1981), Cruz Trucking (1983, 84, 86, 87) and Hickory Inn (1997, 98, 2006). He helped in the start and the running of the Milwaukee 2-man tournament from it’s start until the mid 1980’s. Doc attributes much of his success in Dartball to his long time collaboration with teammate Bob Leskovar, who nominated him for this. |
| Martin Gaudian - (Classof 2011) Lives in Oak Creek. Started playing Dartball in 1939 at the age of 18 in Paulina, Iowa. From 1962 to 1989 he played in the South Suburban Church League in Milwaukee. He also played in the West Allis Classic (9-man) League from 1964 to 1980, ad then the Hickory Inn 4-man league from 1980-2008, as well as the Kelly Senior Center League. His highest average was .642 in 1987, and had 9 seasons over .600. Between 1970 and 1995 he never hit less that .556 in any of the leagues he was shooting in. He won several batting titles in the very competitive West Allis Classic League, as well as a State Championship with Panzers in 1971. In 1978 he won the round robin state shoot-off, hitting all 5 targets with only 5 darts. In addition to being on of the top shooters of his time, he was also the league secretary for the South Suburban League from 1963-1988, and for the Kelly Senior Center League for over 25 years. | Jim (Gus) Gospodarek - (Class of 2011) Deceased (1943-1991). Started playing Dartball in 1960 in the Holy Name league, and then played in the Manitowoc County League. Was the league President of the Two Rivers Cool City League from 1974-1991 (17 years). Had a lifetime average of .520 and won numerous shoot off and high average awards. He was the captain of the 1991 State Champion Sauve’s team for over ten years until his death. He was involved in a grade school football program in the 1980's and often recruited young Dartball players from the program. He also is a member of the Lakeshore All Sports Hall of Fame. Nominated by his brother Jerry ‘Gus’ Gospodarek. His plaque was acceptedby his wife and brother, pictured on right. |

| Eddie Hall II - (Class of 2011) Lives in Athens, Wisconsin. Started playing Dartball at the age of 25 in the Little Rib Church League in 1969. He played in that league for 35 years, and also played in the Wausau Inter-church League, the Mar/Lin Mixed Couples League (a league he helped to create), and the Mid-state League, which he has played in for 40+ years and counting. From 1970 to 2005 he averaged between .474 and . 625, with his highest average coming in the Little Rib Church League, where he won the high average title for 16 consecutive years. His combined average during that time was around .523. He has been on many league champions, and was on 2 class B state champions with Barley Pop Pub in 1993 & 94. He has also served as league secretary, and as team captain. He continues to shoot with a positive attitude, despite living with Parkinson’s disease for the last 15 years. | Jeff Jentsch - (Class of 2011) Lives in Francis Creek and started playing Dartball at the age of 14 in 1964. His 2nd year in the league he won the league batting title with a .565 average. In 46 years of league play, his career average is .555 with four seasons over .600, including his highest average of .621, which he did twice. Over the years he has gathered over 400 trophies and Dartball awards, including batting titles, RBI titles shoot off and tournament awards. He often played 3 times a week, and one time played in either a league or tournament for 16 straight nights! He has many state shoot off awards, and shot in at least 30 state tournaments. He was on the Sauve’s teams that won 7 state championships in 11 years. He was also on the first two state 4 man tournament champions. He even met his wife in 1980 thru Dartball, when she beat him in a shoot off in Reedsville. Even though he doesn’t play much anymore, he really enjoyed all the players and good times in Dartball over the years. Nominated by Mike Goetsch. |

| Dale Lenius - (Class of 2011) Lives in Watertown. Started playing Dartball at the age of 13. Played in the Lutheran Dartball League for 50 years, and had his highest league average of .530 in 1981 in that league. He averaged between 481 and 530 from 1974 to 2010. He helped to start the Rock River 4 man league at Turner Hall in 1995 and was the league President for the first 13 years of the league. He helped grow the league to 18 teams. Was also the key person in bringing the State Tournament to Watertown for the first time in 2001 and again in 2008, and was on the state committee 1999 to 2010. Also played in many tournaments, including state for many years. Nominated by Erv Fiedler. Dale is pictured on left. |

| Chuck Spahn - (Class of 2011) Lives in Milwaukee. Started playing Dartball in 1972 at the age of 12 in the United Church of Christ League, which he played in for his first 24 years of Dartball. Also played and managed teams in several Milwaukee area tavern leagues, and still plays in the South Milwaukee 4-man League, where he recorded his highest league season average of .642 in 2008. Has also won 12 high triple league awards. Has been on many league championship teams, as well as numerous tournament champions. He has won 33 shoot-off titles, including over 20 high qualifiers, as well as many round robin titles. Known as one of the best triple shooters from Milwaukee, he has been on 5 state championship teams, winning his last 4 titles with Hickory Inn. Nominated by teammate Bob Leskovar. |

| Gaylord Traeder - (Class of 2011) Deceased (1922-1990). Started playing Dartball in 1952 at the age of 30 in Rome, Wisconsin. Played 28 years in the Lutheran Dartball League (Rome). Also played a few years in the Okauchee Lake and Jefferson County League. He was a consistent 500+ shooter from 1952 to 1980, with a season high of .601 in the 1969-70 season. He won the high average and high RBI trophy in 22 of the 28 years he played in the Lutheran League. He was also the team captain every year and a principal recruiter for the league. He would encourage the youth to join the church Dartball team when eligible after confirmation. He also organized teams to play in the annual Lebanon and Rome tournaments. Many of the players he recruited are still playing Dartball today in leagues in that area. He was also a model for the younger shooters because of his high average and love of the sport. | Bernie VandenAvond - (Class of 2011) Lives in Green Bay. Started playing Dartball at the age of 18 back in 1952 in the Industrial League, now the Green Bay Dartball League. He has played for 58 years in that league, and also played for over 14 years in the Tuesday Holy Name League. He has many seasons batting over .500, with his best season in 1956-57 when he hit .534. He was the main triple shooter on the Rentmeester Oil team that finished first or second 26 times over a 40 year span in a league that had as many as 18 nine man teams, all playing in one division for many years in Green Bay. He won the batting title and RBI title in 1973-74 and 75-76 seasons. He was also league President for a time in the Wednesday League. He rehabbed to come back from a sore shoulder in 2009 to continue playing. He has shot with his son (BJ) for many of the years, and has been on the same team as Hall of Famer Burt Berglin for 58 years! Nominated by Kevin Kohlbeck. |

| Henry VandenElzen - (Class of 2011) Deceased, lived in Green Bay. Began playing dartball in 1939 when the Industrial Dartball (Wednesday) League was formed in Green Bay in 1939. Played dartball in two of the Green Bay Dartball leagues for over 50 years each. Was the league secretary and treasurer for the Wednesday Green Bay Dartball league from 1942 to 1994 (52 years). He was also the league secretary/treasurer for the Holy Name (Tuesday) Green Bay league from 1944 to 1984 (40 years). Henry helped to maintain league records for the Green Bay Wednesday league going back to the beginning of the league in 1939. Henry was a mid .400 hitter for many years and won several league championships with the Verifine Dairy and Swan Club teams. He also played on several tournament teams each year with teams that placed in several tournaments. Nominated by his son Bernie VandenElzen. His daughter, Jan accepted the plaque on behalf of the family. |

| Tom “Wilt” Walter - (Class of 2011) Lives in Oshkosh. Began playing Dartball at the age of 14 in 1962. He has played in the St. Vincent League for over 48 years, and has batted between .490 and .573 for that span. His . 573 high season occurred in 1972 in the Sacred Heart League, which he has also played in for 44+ years. He has been on over 50 league championship teams, 56 tournament champions, and two state championship teams: Pinky’s in 1979 and Castaways in 1990. He also has been the league secretary for both leagues for a combined 26 years. Since 1962 he claims to have missed only 2 nights in each league, and to have had the same lucky stone in his pocket the entire time. He is also well know for his signature “Chamberlain” jump after a hit! Nominated by Scott Footit. |

| Curt Yahr - (Class of 2011) Lives in Kewaskum. Started playing Dartball at age 12 in the Boltonville Church League in 1943. He also played in the Church League, and has played in the Amerahn League for the last 35 years. He has been the sponsor for his Yahr Oil Dartball team for over 35 years. The Yahr team has always been one of the top league and tournament teams, and Curt always made sure his teams had Dartball shirts and jackets. He was a .500 to .550 batter for many years, and was sponsor of the 3 Yahr Oil state champion teams, winning the titles in 1975, 1988, and 2008. Nominated by Mike Yahr. | Rich Yahr - (Class of 2011) Lives in Kewaskum. Started playing Dartball at age 12 in the Boltonville Church League in 1944. He retired from Dartball in 2010, and had played for 51 years, missing only a few years because of military service. He has played in the Milwaukee league some, but mostly in the Boltonville and Amerahn Leagues. He has shot over .600 five times, with his best averages of .653 and .651. He usually batted 4th in the line-up, and led his leagues in RBI’s many years. He has over 200 Dartball trophies, and won state championships with Yahr Oil in 1975, 1988, and 2008.
