State Tournament Winners - Class "B"
State Tournament Winners - Class "A"
WISCONSIN DARTBALL
The first state dartball
tournament was held in
1939.
See the photo on the right.
The records from the early
years of the state dartball
tournaments were not always
passed along. If you have any
information about any of the
missing information, please
contact us.
Over the years, the number of
teams entering the state
tournament has continued to
rise.
1986 was the first year teams
were divided into a 2 division
format. Since then, the top 16
teams, by team batting
average, have been put in the
"A" division. The rest of the
teams go into the "B" division.
In 2000 it was decided that
any team that won Class B the
previous year must go into
Class A the next year.
In 2007, the tournament was
held in Manitowoc, and drew
79 teams from around the
state. They had 16 teams in
A, 49 teams in B, and 14
women's teams. This was the
largest two day dartball
tournament ever held.
